For every child of God, there will come a time when we must leave all that we know and go into the unknown with God.
Adam and Eve left the garden, Noah went into the ark, Abraham went to UR, Moses went into the wilderness, Joshua went to the promised land, Joseph went to Egypt, Jesus left heavens splendor and came here to earth to dwell among us, the Apostles left all they knew and followed Jesus and then the early Church sold all they had and went into all the world. Where is God calling you, leading you? As this year closes and a new one begins, will you go where He leads you? Taking the step to get up and go, to do what God wants is an act of faith, trust, and obedience but mostly love when we truly love God with all our hearts, minds and strength we will go without hesitation. Where is God calling you to go? What is God calling you to do? Will you trust Him no matter where He sends you? Will you go into the unknown to make His name known? Whether it is across the street or halfway across the world. God has a calling on our lives, He has already gone ahead of us. Where is He asking you to go, to make your path straight, trust Him! God's word says this: “The eleven disciples traveled to Galilee, to the mountain where Jesus had directed them. When they saw him, they worshiped, but some doubted. Jesus came near and said to them, “All authority has been given to me in heaven and on earth. Go, therefore, and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe everything I have commanded you. And remember, I am with you always, to the end of the age.” Matthew 28:16-20 CSB “Therefore, since we also have such a large cloud of witnesses surrounding us, let us lay aside every hindrance and the sin that so easily ensnares us. Let us run with endurance the race that lies before us, keeping our eyes on Jesus, the source and perfecter of our faith. For the joy that lay before him, he endured the cross, despising the shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. For consider him who endured such hostility from sinners against himself, so that you won’t grow weary and give up.”Hebrews 12:1-3 CSB
