What's the difference?

God demands our minds as he does our hearts. He wants our thoughts as well as our feelings. The present trend of feelings, emotions, experience, and entertainment in the Church has done much more damage and stunted the healthy growth of Christianity.

Instead of influencing society, we are being influenced by culture, there is now not much difference between believers and non-believers.

Materialism is the god of our age and the church is following ancient Israel example. Not all churches but most. Most Christians focus more on 401k’s and investments than they do living their lives for the sake of Jesus Christ, Jesus seems to fall in place somewhere near the bottom when it comes to our lives, and our mission.

We have to show our neighbors that we are not chasing empty hopeless dreams, that we are not satisfied with or attracted to the things of the world. Not that we are better than them, but we are focused on Heaven and not Sodom. Retiring to Florida is not what we are called to do, we are called to live out our short lives on this earth in servitude to Jesus Christ. But somewhere along the trip, we started focusing on all the glam and glitter of Sodom and forsaking our call.

I am compelled by my love for each of you, my friends and family to share the word of the Lord with you all,let it be known to you all, and to all the people, that by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, who was crucified, and who God raised from the dead, and by Him was made whole, that there is NO salvation in any other, for there is NO other name under heaven given among men than Jesus Christ of Nazareth, by which we must be saved.

Jesus said in John 14:6, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me., and Jesus said in John 3:18-19 "He who believes in Him is not condemned, but he who does not believe is condemned already because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. "And this is the condemnation, that the light has come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light because their deeds were evil.

Do not believe that there is any other way to heaven, there is not. If anyone rejects Jesus Christ, they have condemned themselves to eternal damnation, whether they be my child or ANYONE who believes different. We all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God, and I can promise you I am chief of sinners, but God’s grace is greater than any sin, except denying Him.

You have seen the truth, you can reject it or accept it, that is your choice. My choice is to tell you that Jesus loves you, and I love you, and that is why I have shared this today.

Let's turn our hearts away from Sodom, let's turn them over to Jesus and see what He will do, where He will lead, whom He will save through our obedience to Him.

Gods’ word says this:

“Abram went up from Egypt to the Negev — he, his wife, and all he had, and Lot with him.

Now Lot, who was traveling with Abram, also had flocks, herds, and tents. But the land was unable to support them as long as they stayed together, for they had so many possessions that they could not stay together, and there was quarreling between the herdsmen of Abram’s livestock and the herdsmen of Lot’s livestock. (At that time the Canaanites and the Perizzites were living in the land.) So Abram said to Lot, “Please, let’s not have quarreling between you and me, or between your herdsmen and my herdsmen, since we are relatives. Isn’t the whole land before you? Separate from me: if you go to the left, I will go to the right; if you go to the right, I will go to the left.” Lot looked out and saw that the entire plain of the Jordan as far as Zoar was well watered everywhere like the Lord’s garden and the land of Egypt. (This was before the Lord destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah.) So Lot chose the entire plain of the Jordan for himself. Then Lot journeyed eastward, and they separated from each other. Abram lived in the land of Canaan, but Lot lived in the cities on the plain and set up his tent near Sodom. (Now the men of Sodom were evil, sinning immensely against the Lord.) After Lot had separated from him, the Lord said to Abram, “Look from the place where you are. Look north and south, east and west, for I will give you and your offspring forever all the land that you see. I will make your offspring like the dust of the earth, so that if anyone could count the dust of the earth, then your offspring could be counted. Get up and walk around the land, through its length and width, for I will give it to you.” So Abram moved his tent and went to live near the oaks of Mamre at Hebron, where he built an altar to the Lord.” Genesis‬ ‭13:1, 5-18‬ ‭CSB‬‬

“Write to the angel of the church in Ephesus: Thus says the one who holds the seven stars in his right hand and who walks among the seven golden lampstands: I know your works, your labor, and your endurance, and that you cannot tolerate evil people. You have tested those who call themselves apostles and are not, and you have found them to be liars. I know that you have persevered and endured hardships for the sake of my name, and have not grown weary. But I have this against you: You have abandoned the love you had at first. Remember then how far you have fallen; repent, and do the works you did at first. Otherwise, I will come to you and remove your lampstand from its place, unless you repent. Yet you do have this: You hate the practices of the Nicolaitans, which I also hate. “Let anyone who has ears to hear listen to what the Spirit says to the churches. To the one who conquers, I will give the right to eat from the tree of life, which is in the paradise of God.” Revelation‬ ‭2:1-7‬ ‭CSB‬‬

“Jesus told her, “Believe me, woman, an hour is coming when you will worship the Father neither on this mountain nor in Jerusalem. You Samaritans worship what you do not know. We worship what we do know, because salvation is from the Jews. But an hour is coming, and is now here, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in Spirit and in truth. Yes, the Father wants such people to worship him. God is spirit, and those who worship him must worship in Spirit and in truth.” The woman said to him, “I know that the Messiah is coming” (who is called Christ ). “When he comes, he will explain everything to us.” Jesus told her, “I, the one speaking to you, am he.”John‬ ‭4:21-26‬ ‭CSB‬‬

“I am saying this so that no one will deceive you with arguments that sound reasonable. For I may be absent in body, but I am with you in spirit, rejoicing to see how well ordered you are and the strength of your faith in Christ. So then, just as you have received Christ Jesus as Lord, continue to live in him, being rooted and built up in him and established in the faith, just as you were taught, and overflowing with gratitude. Be careful that no one takes you captive through philosophy and empty deceit based on human tradition, based on the elements of the world, rather than Christ. For the entire fullness of God’s nature dwells bodily in Christ, and you have been filled by him, who is the head over every ruler and authority. You were also circumcised in him with a circumcision not done with hands, by putting off the body of flesh, in the circumcision of Christ, when you were buried with him in baptism, in which you were also raised with him through faith in the working of God, who raised him from the dead. And when you were dead in trespasses and in the uncircumcision of your flesh, he made you alive with him and forgave us all our trespasses. He erased the certificate of debt, with its obligations, that was against us and opposed to us, and has taken it away by nailing it to the cross. He disarmed the rulers and authorities and disgraced them publicly; he triumphed over them in him.” Colossians‬ ‭2:4-15‬ ‭CSB‬‬
