What’s love got to do with it?

We cannot fathom the depths of God's love for us, but this we know He loves us more than we love Him, He loved us first, His love is unchanging, His love is eternal, His love is pure.

God loves us regardless of who we were, or still, are, despite what we say or what we do, His grace, mercy, forgiveness, and love is offered to all mankind.

God does not love us emotionally, He loves us unconditionally, He loved us before we were born, before we acknowledged Him, while we were His enemy.

Real love comes from God, for in God's divine nature He is love, it is part of His character, His being, and we receive that part of Him in the Holy Spirit when Christ becomes our Lord and Savior of our lives.

Gods’ love transforms us into His sons and daughters, it subdues our selfishness and turns it into Christ-likeness, His love never flees, it is long-suffering, in our lives and in the lives of others

Gods’ love gives us life, sustains our life, flows through us like a river and reaches the desolate and the lost, it has been said, all the world needs is love, which is half true, all the world needs is the love of God.

His love is beyond our limits of understanding, but not beyond His work in our lives.

Instead of telling God today how much we love Him, why don't we thank Him for how much He loves us.

Lord the one you love needs your help today, in my walk, my ways, my words, my actions, my will, let them be yours.

God’s word says this:

“Dear friends, let us love one another, because love is from God, and everyone who loves has been born of God and knows God. The one who does not love does not know God, because God is love. God’s love was revealed among us in this way: God sent his one and only Son into the world so that we might live through him. Love consists in this: not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son to be the atoning sacrifice for our sins. Dear friends, if God loved us in this way, we also must love one another. No one has ever seen God. If we love one another, God remains in us and his love is made complete in us. This is how we know that we remain in him and he in us: He has given us of his Spirit. And we have seen and we testify that the Father has sent his Son as the world’s Savior. Whoever confesses that Jesus is the Son of God — God remains in him and him in God. And we have come to know and to believe the love that God has for us. God is love, and the one who remains in love remains in God, and God remains in him. In this, love is made complete with us so that we may have confidence in the day of judgment, because as he is, so also are we in this world. There is no fear in love; instead, perfect love drives out fear, because fear involves punishment. So the one who fears is not complete in love. We love because he first loved us. If anyone says, “I love God,” and yet hates his brother or sister, he is a liar. For the person who does not love his brother or sister whom he has seen cannot love God whom he has not seen. And we have this command from him: The one who loves God must also love his brother and sister.”1 John‬ ‭4:7-21‬ ‭CSB‬‬

“But God proves His own love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us!”Romans 5:8 CSB

“For God loved the world in this way: He gave His One and Only Son so that everyone who believes in Him will not perish but have eternal life.”John 3:16 CSB
