Turn our pity into praise

When pain turns to pity our soul is in despair, when we give our pain to God, He will turn it into praise and lift our soul up into His presence where joy is everlasting and darkness flees.

Sometimes when we suffer or we see the suffering of others it is tempting to come up with quick explanations.

Truth is we don’t always know why, things happen except this, sin and death entered our world through Adam, and they affect everyone, no one escapes their claws.

But just as sin and death entered through Adam, forgiveness and life comes through Christ, who defeated sin and death at the cross, and they are available to all mankind.

We are all dying, one breath at a time, nothing can stop the process, except the Lord, come back and take us all home together!

Don’t fear what lays before us, embrace it. It is said until we embrace our own mortality, we will never learn how to live.

Take the pain of this life and give it to God, He alone can relate to all we go through, He alone can bring peace and turn our pain into praise.

There are no human answers to some questions, there are no substitutes for the peace of God, there is only His comfort and peace and He gives that individually to those who seek and ask.

Job’s life was filled with prosperity and praise, then it turned upside down in a matter of moments, when he cried out from his heart, he cries out to God, ‘I could only plead with my Judge for mercy’ (v.15).

When doubts arise ask God for faith, when anger fuels up inside us, ask God for peace, when struggles seem to chain us, ask God for grace.

We have a Heavenly Father who listens, who cares, who sustains our lives, and He is in every second of our lives, isn’t it time we turn to Him?

Boldly approach His throne today ask God for His help, His peace, His strength, His hope, His mercy and He will fill your hearts with them.

God’s word says this!
“Does God pervert justice? Does the Almighty pervert what is right?

But if you earnestly seek God and ask the Almighty for mercy,

Look, God does not reject a person of integrity, and he will not support evildoers. He will yet fill your mouth with laughter and your lips with a shout of joy. Your enemies will be clothed with shame; the tent of the wicked will no longer exist.” Job 8:3,5, 20-22 CSB

“Yes, I know what you’ve said is true, but how can a person be justified before God? If one wanted to take him to court, he could not answer God once in a thousand times. God is wise and all-powerful. Who has opposed him and come out unharmed? He removes mountains without their knowledge, overturning them in his anger. He shakes the earth from its place so that its pillars tremble. He commands the sun not to shine and seals off the stars. He alone stretches out the heavens and treads on the waves of the sea. He makes the stars: the Bear, Orion, the Pleiades, and the constellations of the southern sky. He does great and unsearchable things, wonders without number. If he passed by me, I wouldn’t see him; if he went by, I wouldn’t recognize him. If he snatches something, who can stop him? Who can ask him, “What are you doing?” God does not hold back his anger; Rahab’s assistants cringe in fear beneath him! How then can I answer him or choose my arguments against him? Even if I were in the right, I could not answer. I could only beg my Judge for mercy.

If it is a matter of strength, look, he is the powerful one! If it is a matter of justice, who can summon him? Even if I were in the right, my own mouth would condemn me; if I were blameless, my mouth would declare me guilty.” Job 9:2-15, 19-20 CSB

“Therefore, just as sin entered the world through one man, and death through sin, in this way death spread to all people, because all sinned. In fact, sin was in the world before the law, but sin is not charged to a person’s account when there is no law. Nevertheless, death reigned from Adam to Moses, even over those who did not sin in the likeness of Adam’s transgression. He is a type of the Coming One. But the gift is not like the trespass. For if by the one man’s trespass the many died, how much more have the grace of God and the gift which comes through the grace of the one man Jesus Christ overflowed to the many. And the gift is not like the one man’s sin, because from one sin came the judgment, resulting in condemnation, but from many trespasses came the gift, resulting in justification. Since by the one man’s trespass, death reigned through that one man, how much more will those who receive the overflow of grace and the gift of righteousness reign in life through the one man, Jesus Christ. So then, as through one trespass there is condemnation for everyone, so also through one righteous act there is justification leading to life for everyone. For just as through one man’s disobedience the many were made sinners, so also through the one man’s obedience the many will be made righteous. The law came along to multiply the trespass. But where sin multiplied, grace multiplied even more so that, just as sin reigned in death, so also grace will reign through righteousness, resulting in eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.” Romans 5:12-21 CSB

“Therefore, since we have a great high priest who has passed through the heavens — Jesus the Son of God — let us hold fast to our confession. For we do not have a high priest who is unable to sympathize with our weaknesses, but one who has been tempted in every way as we are, yet without sin. Therefore, let us approach the throne of grace with boldness, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in time of need.” Hebrews 4:14-16 CSB
