God is glorified in our suffering and pain just as He is in our healing and comfort.
He is most glorified when we turn our hearts to Him, walk in obedience and trust Him to see us through no matter the outcome for He is good. Through the years I have learned that I trust Him everyday for everything, I am unable to function or move without His help, and I couldn't say that if I was completely healed. My faith is not in what I believe, rather my faith is based on who I believe in. I believe in Jesus Christ. Things don't always work out as we want, as Christians we suffer, we get sick and are plagued with disease and poverty, we die, we go bankrupt, we lose friends, we are not immune to tragedy. We do though have an adversary on our side, we do have victory over all the tragedy in the world, because of Christ. The things this world throws at us are temporary, they are not eternal. We can trust that God has us in His hands and that He is at work in our lives, and in pain and suffering or in healing and comfort in life or in death He will be glorified, and we will be with Him no matter what. Keep the faith, press in to Christ our redeemer and Savior, let His life and love shine through. God's word says this “I have been crucified with Christ, and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I now live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.”Galatians 2:20 CSB “If we live, we live for the Lord; and if we die, we die for the Lord. Therefore, whether we live or die, we belong to the Lord. Christ died and returned to life for this: that he might be Lord over both the dead and the living.”Romans 14:8-9 CSB ““Don’t let your heart be troubled. Believe in God; believe also in me. In my Father’s house are many rooms; if not, I would have told you. I am going away to prepare a place for you. If I go away and prepare a place for you, I will come again and take you to myself, so that where I am you may be also. You know the way to where I am going.” Jesus told him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. If you know me, you will also know my Father. From now on you do know him and have seen him.” In a little while the world will no longer see me, but you will see me. Because I live, you will live too. “Peace I leave with you. My peace I give to you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Don’t let your heart be troubled or fearful. You have heard me tell you, ‘I am going away and I am coming to you.’ If you loved me, you would rejoice that I am going to the Father, because the Father is greater than I. I have told you now before it happens so that when it does happen you may believe. I will not talk with you much longer, because the ruler of the world is coming. He has no power over me.”John 14:1-4, 6-7, 19, 27-30 CSB “Jesus responded to them, “Do you now believe? Indeed, an hour is coming, and has come, when each of you will be scattered to his own home, and you will leave me alone. Yet I am not alone, because the Father is with me. I have told you these things so that in me you may have peace. You will have suffering in this world. Be courageous! I have conquered the world.” John 16:31-33 CSB “Who can separate us from the love of Christ? Can affliction or distress or persecution or famine or nakedness or danger or sword? As it is written: Because of you we are being put to death all day long; we are counted as sheep to be slaughtered. No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor rulers, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.” Romans 8:35-38 CSB
