The devil couldn't stop Him from coming!
Herod couldn't kill Him! The Sanhedrin couldn't silence Him or shut Him up! The Romans couldn't keep Him in the grave! Every Nation that has tried to banish His name or make His people stop worshipping Him and praising His name has fallen. One day all the Nations will rest upon His shoulders, One day every knee will bow and tongue confess that Christ Jesus is Lord. Jesus came to us wrapped in swaddling clothes, He grew up and lived like us,so all would know the love grace and mercy of God. From the manger to the cross, to the empty tomb, life itself has been and always will be about Him! I wonder do you know Him? He laid down His life, was crucified, dead and buried and laid in grave clothes, but 3 days later He rose again and has offered His life in exchange for ours. But the story doesn't end there! One day soon He is coming back to call His own home, this Christmas I pray you come to know Him, the only reason we can celebrate Christmas is because of Christ, let us honor Him and give gifts as God our Father has given to us. God’s word says this: “But when the fullness of time had come, God sent forth his Son, born of woman, born under the law, to redeem those who were under the law, so that we might receive adoption as sons. And because you are sons, God has sent the Spirit of his Son into our hearts, crying, "Abba! Father!" So you are no longer a slave, but a son, and if a son, then an heir through God.” Galatians 4:4-7 ESV “Now after Jesus was born in Bethlehem of Judea in the days of Herod the king, behold, wise men from the east came to Jerusalem, saying, "Where is he who has been born king of the Jews? For we saw his star when it rose and have come to worship him." When Herod the king heard this, he was troubled, and all Jerusalem with him; and assembling all the chief priests and scribes of the people, he inquired of them where the Christ was to be born. They told him, "In Bethlehem of Judea, for so it is written by the prophet: "'And you, O Bethlehem, in the land of Judah, are by no means least among the rulers of Judah; for from you shall come a ruler who will shepherd my people Israel.'" And going into the house, they saw the child with Mary his mother, and they fell down and worshiped him. Then, opening their treasures, they offered him gifts, gold and frankincense and myrrh. And being warned in a dream not to return to Herod, they departed to their own country by another way.” Matthew 2:1-6, 11-12 ESV
