How far we've traveled from God the Father, how long will we wander aimlessly in the wilderness?
We have been in the wilderness so long we don’t even recognize were lost, we've become confused and misdirected by false prophets of hope.
We have been trained and now master the art of compromise so easily without remorse, we have become ignorant of our sin even in our disobedience we believe we are serving God.
We have generations of people who call themselves children of God living in disobedience, with total disregard of God’s word and ways.
Look at how we have quietly accepted what the world has said is normal and acceptable, how we have disregarded God’s word and welcomed the lies of our enemy into our lives, our homes, our churches, our communities, and our nation.
The greatest way to destroy a Nation is to make God your enemy.
Our Courts, Congress, and Elected Officials have done so and we have let them.
Then we have the religious taking God’s name in vain by the way they live and the things they do, dismantling the word of God to fit their desires.
It doesn’t matter how loud you proclaim God’s glory on Sunday if your life does not match your words.
“Don’t you know that the unrighteous will not inherit God’s kingdom? Do not be deceived: No sexually immoral people, idolaters, adulterers, or males who have sex with males, no thieves, greedy people, drunkards, verbally abusive people, or swindlers will inherit God’s kingdom.” 1 Corinthians 6:9-10 CSB
Our Nation and the world worship those that are paid to entertain us from sports figures, Hollywood stars, politicians and pastors people worship people as gods.
Our Nation willingly sacrifices our sons and daughters on the altar of profit and personal choice through murdering them in the womb based on inconvenience, the wrong sex or disability up to the moment of birth.
We covet what our neighbors have, we applaud lawlessness and despise the rule of law. We believe we are wiser than God and do not need Him, we have abandoned reason and embrace treason against our God our creator.
We need too come to God on our knees and faces and repent, our souls need to be grieved for our sins against God individuality and corporately as a Nation, if we don’t we will be asking for the judgment of God and scripture reminds us when we abandon God, He will eventually abandon us a Nation.
Repenting is more than changing our ways, it is repenting it is submitting to Christ and changing our walking in the Holy Spirit and dying to ourselves.
When is the last time we have repented, and let God have His way in every area of our lives?
Oh, my brothers and sisters, we need to wake up before we are carried off into captivity one day, like every other Nation that turned it’s back on God.
Today is the day we need to surrender and submit to God, let God's word dwell deeply in our hearts, souls, and minds. Remember your first love Christ Jesus, turn from our wickedness and back to His righteousness.
God’s word says this;
”Both we and our fathers have sinned; we have done wrong and have acted wickedly. Our fathers in Egypt did not grasp the significance of your wondrous works or remember your many acts of faithful love; instead, they rebelled by the sea — the Red Sea...They exchanged their glory for the image of a grass-eating ox. They forgot God their Savior, who did great things in Egypt, wondrous works in the land of Ham, awe-inspiring acts at the Red Sea. So he said he would have destroyed them — if Moses his chosen one had not stood before him in the breach to turn his wrath away from destroying them. They despised the pleasant land and did not believe his promise. They grumbled in their tents and did not listen to the Lord. So he raised his hand against them with an oath that he would make them fall in the desert and would disperse their descendants among the nations, scattering them throughout the lands. They aligned themselves with Baal of Peor and ate sacrifices offered to lifeless gods. They angered the Lord with their deeds, and a plague broke out against them.”Psalms 106:6-7, 20-29 CSB
“do not harden your hearts as in the rebellion, on the day of testing in the wilderness, where your fathers tested me, tried me, and saw my works for forty years. Therefore I was provoked to anger with that generation and said, “They always go astray in their hearts, and they have not known my ways.” So I swore in my anger, “They will not enter my rest.” Watch out, brothers and sisters, so that there won’t be in any of you an evil, unbelieving heart that turns away from the living God. But encourage each other daily, while it is still called today, so that none of you is hardened by sin’s deception. For we have become participants in Christ if we hold firmly until the end the reality that we had at the start. As it is said: Today, if you hear his voice, do not harden your hearts as in the rebellion. For who heard and rebelled? Wasn’t it all who came out of Egypt under Moses? With whom was God angry for forty years? Wasn’t it with those who sinned, whose bodies fell in the wilderness? And to whom did he swear that they would not enter his rest, if not to those who disobeyed? So we see that they were unable to enter because of unbelief.”Hebrews 3:8-19 CSB
”To what should I compare this generation? It’s like children sitting in the marketplaces who call out to other children:...Woe to you, Chorazin! Woe to you, Bethsaida! For if the miracles that were done in you had been done in Tyre and Sidon, they would have repented in sackcloth and ashes long ago. But I tell you, it will be more tolerable for Tyre and Sidon on the day of judgment than for you. And you, Capernaum, will you be exalted to heaven? No, you will go down to Hades. For if the miracles that were done in you had been done in Sodom, it would have remained until today. But I tell you, it will be more tolerable for the land of Sodom on the day of judgment than for you.”Matthew 11:16, 21-24CSB
“What is the source of wars and fights among you? Don’t they come from your passions that wage war within you? You desire and do not have. You murder and covet and cannot obtain. You fight and wage war. You do not have because you do not ask. You ask and don’t receive because you ask with wrong motives, so that you may spend it on your pleasures. You adulterous people! Don’t you know that friendship with the world is hostility toward God? So whoever wants to be the friend of the world becomes the enemy of God. Or do you think it’s without reason that the Scripture says: The spirit he made to dwell in us envies intensely? But he gives greater grace. Therefore he says: God resists the proud, but gives grace to the humble. Therefore, submit to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, sinners, and purify your hearts, you double-minded.”James 4:1-8 CSB
