No one is above the law

Man can try and redefine sin, by changing its name, or legislating it and calling it legal, or by just believing themselves that it is not a sin, we can do all kinds of things to justify our rebellion call but God does not see it that way to Him when we sin it is sin, He has never changed His position on sin for anyone.

James 4.17. So whoever knows the right thing to do and fails to do it, for him it is sin.

We can call the slaughter of innocent babies, abortion, but it is still murder, we can call pornography a form of art but it is sexual sin it leads to lust, fornication, and defilement, we can say marriage is for all but God has designed it between a man and a woman, period. We can live together outside of marriage and it is fornication. We can try and justify drunkenness, idolatry, adultery, living together, cheating, lying, gossip, witchcraft, swearing, hate, pride, but we can not justify any of these for God is Holy and demands us to be Holy.

Our sin is the only thing that separates us from God, we should never negotiate with sin, we will lose every time, sin takes us farther than we're wanting to go, always.

It is time for repentance, Christ alone paid the price for all of mankind's sin and He alone has the power to forgive, redeem and restore our relationship with God the Father.

The law says we are guilty of sin, the penalty is death for sin. No one is above the law, everyone must either choose to be judged by the law or ransomed by Christ. The law says you break one law and you're guilty of breaking all the laws.

Christ says come to me for I have fulfilled the law and in me alone, you will be free from the guilty verdict and the penalty of the law and I will give you eternal life.

God’s word says this:

“Jesus responded, “Truly I tell you, everyone who commits sin is a slave of sin. A slave does not remain in the household forever, but a son does remain forever. So if the Son sets you free, you really will be free.”John‬ ‭8:34-36‬ ‭CSB‬

“A thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy. I have come so that they may have life and have it in abundance.”John‬ ‭10:10 CSB

“Everything is permissible,” but not everything is beneficial. “Everything is permissible,” but not everything builds up. No one is to seek his own good, but the good of the other person.” 1 Corinthians‬ ‭10:23-24‬ ‭CSB‬‬

“Indeed, if you fulfill the royal law prescribed in the Scripture, Love your neighbor as yourself, you are doing well. If, however, you show favoritism, you commit sin and are convicted by the law as transgressors. For whoever keeps the entire law, and yet stumbles at one point, is guilty of breaking it all. For he who said, Do not commit adultery, also said, Do not murder. So if you do not commit adultery, but you murder, you are a lawbreaker. Speak and act as those who are to be judged by the law of freedom. For judgment is without mercy to the one who has not shown mercy. Mercy triumphs over judgment.” James‬ ‭2:8-13‬ ‭CSB‬‬

“But thank God that, although you used to be slaves of sin, you obeyed from the heart that pattern of teaching to which you were handed over, and having been set free from sin, you became enslaved to righteousness. I am using a human analogy because of the weakness of your flesh. For just as you offered the parts of yourselves as slaves to impurity, and to greater and greater lawlessness, so now offer them as slaves to righteousness, which results in sanctification. For when you were slaves of sin, you were free with regard to righteousness. So what fruit was produced then from the things you are now ashamed of? The outcome of those things is death. But now, since you have been set free from sin and have become enslaved to God, you have your fruit, which results in sanctification — and the outcome is eternal life! For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.” Romans‬ ‭6:17-23‬ ‭CSB‬
