We grow tired of praying for other people and ourselves, but God doesn’t, God embraces our prayers and our tears when we come to Him and pray for salvation for our family and friends, when we ask Him to heal others or help us, God loves the prayers of His children, we should never grow tired of praying for something or someone!
God's word says we should "devote" ourselves to prayer and be "alert" in prayer. Our prayers rise to the throne of God, He captures them and listens to each one personally, He answers each one personally, we serve a God who is intimately involved in every part of our lives, He values our prayers more than we value time praying to Him. Our persistence in prayer expresses our faith that God answers our prayers, He loves to hear our petitions and request for He is God, as a matter of fact, the Holy Spirit prays for us when we don't know what to pray, and Jesus prays for us daily, this shows us the power, the necessity, the pleasure God takes in prayer. Our faith shouldn't fade or faint because God answers us slowly or doesn't answer us the way we think He should, for God's way of working things out is always perfect, for His glory and our good. When we feel tired of praying, remember God is present, He is always listening, He always answers, He knows best. Let's not grow weary in our prayer life, for prayer is a lifeline for us and others, God longs to hear from His children, He wants to bless and guide us, He wants to help us in every area of our lives and our family and friends, we must learn to pray and surrender all to Him. God's word says this: “Whenever you pray, you must not be like the hypocrites, because they love to pray standing in the synagogues and on the street corners to be seen by people. Truly I tell you, they have their reward. But when you pray, go into your private room, shut your door, and pray to your Father who is in secret. And your Father who sees in secret will reward you. When you pray, don’t babble like the Gentiles, since they imagine they’ll be heard for their many words. Don’t be like them, because your Father knows the things you need before you ask him. “Therefore, you should pray like this: Our Father in heaven, your name be honored as holy. Your kingdom come. Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us today our daily bread. And forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors. And do not bring us into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one. “For if you forgive others their offenses, your heavenly Father will forgive you as well. But if you don’t forgive others, your Father will not forgive your offenses.” Matthew 6:5-15 CSB “In the same way the Spirit also helps us in our weakness, because we do not know what to pray for as we should, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us with unspoken groanings. And he who searches our hearts knows the mind of the Spirit, because he intercedes for the saints according to the will of God. We know that all things work together for the good of those who love God, who are called according to his purpose.” Romans 8:26-28 CSB “Devote yourselves to prayer; stay alert in it with thanksgiving. At the same time, pray also for us that God may open a door to us for the word, to speak the mystery of Christ, for which I am in chains, so that I may make it known as I should. Act wisely toward outsiders, making the most of the time. Let your speech always be gracious, seasoned with salt, so that you may know how you should answer each person.” Colossians 4:2-6 CSB “Then I saw the seven angels who stand in the presence of God; seven trumpets were given to them. Another angel, with a golden incense burner, came and stood at the altar. He was given a large amount of incense to offer with the prayers of all the saints on the golden altar in front of the throne. The smoke of the incense, with the prayers of the saints, went up in the presence of God from the angel’s hand. The angel took the incense burner, filled it with fire from the altar, and hurled it to the earth; there were peals of thunder, rumblings, flashes of lightning, and an earthquake.” Revelation 8:2-5 CSB
