For all who search for peace, truth and hope my prayer is you be still and know who God is for it is in Him you will find these things.
For all of us who have lost loved ones this year, my prayer is that we find peace and comfort.
For all of us who suffer physically my prayer is we find hope and strength.
For all who suffer emotionally, my prayer is you find joy and happiness.
For all who struggle spiritually or just with life and have questions of why? my prayer is you find rest and wisdom.
Whatever our struggle is, my prayer is we hear the call of Christ Jesus personally on our lives, He alone can bring, peace, comfort, hope, strength, joy, happiness, rest and wisdom.
We may not get the answers we are looking for, but we will find all these things and more in Him. It is time to end our struggles in life and surrender to the one who created us, who loved us before we were created, who loves us even though we might not love Him.
I speak from experience, not from what I have read, but what I live and know, Christ will forever change our lives. We all know life is not fair, evil blossoms good people suffer, but in all these things God is over them, nothing escapes Him, yes things may look bad or be bad, but God is good, always. He never promised any of us perfect lives, He promises us a future with Him.
Things to remember right now Christ is interceding for us at the throne of God the Father, the Holy Spirit prays through us when we don't know what to pray, and God is for us, so who can be against us? We have been crucified with Christ and therefore have died with Him, so the life we now live is His and not ours.
My prayer for all of us as this year ends, is let's look past what has been taken from us, and start looking at all we have been given, we need to embrace Christ, love life and live it to the fullest in Him and behold the glory of the LORD in our lives for in Him we are more than conquerors.
God's word says this:
“At that time Jesus said, “I praise you, Father, Lord of heaven and earth because you have hidden these things from the wise and intelligent and revealed them to infants. Yes, Father, because this was your good pleasure. All things have been entrusted to me by my Father. No one knows the Son except the Father, and no one knows the Father except the Son and anyone to whom the Son desires to reveal him. “Come to me, all of you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take up my yoke and learn from me, because I am lowly and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.”Matthew 11:25-30 CSB
“Jesus answered, “If anyone loves me, he will keep my word. My Father will love him, and we will come to him and make our home with him. The one who doesn’t love me will not keep my words. The word that you hear is not mine but is from the Father who sent me. “I have spoken these things to you while I remain with you. But the Counselor, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you all things and remind you of everything I have told you. “Peace I leave with you. My peace I give to you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Don’t let your heart be troubled or fearful. You have heard me tell you, ‘I am going away and I am coming to you.’ If you loved me, you would rejoice that I am going to the Father, because the Father is greater than I. I have told you now before it happens so that when it does happen you may believe. I will not talk with you much longer, because the ruler of the world is coming. He has no power over me. On the contrary, so that the world may know that I love the Father, I do as the Father commanded me. “Get up; let’s leave this place.”
John 14:23-31 CSB
“But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. The law is not against such things. Now those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires. If we live by the Spirit, let us also keep in step with the Spirit.” Galatians 5:22-25 CSB
“The Spirit himself testifies together with our spirit that we are God’s children, and if children, also heirs — heirs of God and coheirs with Christ — if indeed we suffer with him so that we may also be glorified with him. For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worth comparing with the glory that is going to be revealed to us.
Now in this hope, we were saved, but hope that is seen is not hope, because who hopes for what he sees? Now if we hope for what we do not see, we eagerly wait for it with patience. In the same way the Spirit also helps us in our weakness, because we do not know what to pray for as we should, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us with unspoken groanings. And he who searches our hearts knows the mind of the Spirit, because he intercedes for the saints according to the will of God. We know that all things work together for the good of those who love God, who are called according to his purpose. For those he foreknew he also predestined to be conformed to the image of his Son, so that he would be the firstborn among many brothers and sisters. And those he predestined, he also called; and those he called, he also justified; and those he justified, he also glorified. What then are we to say about these things? If God is for us, who is against us? He did not even spare his own Son but offered him up for us all. How will he not also with him grant us everything? Who can bring an accusation against God’s elect? God is the one who justifies. Who is the one who condemns? Christ Jesus is the one who died, but even more, has been raised; he also is at the right hand of God and intercedes for us. Who can separate us from the love of Christ? Can affliction or distress or persecution or famine or nakedness or danger or sword? As it is written: Because of you we are being put to death all day long; we are counted as sheep to be slaughtered. No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor rulers, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.”
