Our identity in Christ is important, never forget that. It is one of the most important things in this life to know. Never let anyone tell you differently, our lives matters, God created us for a purpose, knowing that who we are in Him is life-changing.
It's time we started living in the power of Christ, and understanding we are sons and daughters of God, through Christ Jesus, today is the day to start living as who we truly are and who we belong to. We are redeemed, born again, children of God, victorious, chosen, blameless, free, saved, sanctified, glorified, holy and righteous, we are a temple where God lives, we are overcome, we are more than conquerors. We have been given authority over sin, over death, over life because of Jesus. Do you know that we are in the sovereign hands of God, that the enemy can’t touch us unless God allows it to grow our faith, and show us and others His glory. Do you know we are set free from the bondage of sin, we are no longer slaves to the enemy, they can suggest sin, but the Holy Spirit always gives us a way out. This list is not inclusive, we are so much more because of who Christ is, but we will never discover who we are in Christ until we pursue our relationship with Him. Start seeking Christ in every opportunity He gives us, start flooding your mind and heart with His word, in prayer learn to worship Him in all you do, walk in confidence of who Christ is and who we are in Him. God's word says this: “Jesus came near and said to them, “All authority has been given to me in heaven and on earth. Go, therefore, and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe everything I have commanded you. And remember, I am with you always, to the end of the age.” Matthew 28:18-20 CSB “The Jews surrounded him and asked, “How long are you going to keep us in suspense? If you are the Messiah, tell us plainly.” “I did tell you and you don’t believe,” Jesus answered them. “The works that I do in my Father’s name testify about me. But you don’t believe because you are not of my sheep. My sheep hear my voice, I know them, and they follow me. I give them eternal life, and they will never perish. No one will snatch them out of my hand. My Father, who has given them to me, is greater than all. No one is able to snatch them out of the Father’s hand. I and the Father are one.” John 10:24-30 CSB “We know that everyone who has been born of God does not sin, but the one who is born of God keeps him, and the evil one does not touch him. We know that we are of God, and the whole world is under the sway of the evil one. And we know that the Son of God has come and has given us understanding so that we may know the true one. We are in the true one — that is, in his Son Jesus Christ. He is the true God and eternal life. Little children, guard yourselves from idols.” 1John 5:18-21 CSB “Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those in Christ Jesus, because the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has set you free from the law of sin and death. What the law could not do since it was weakened by the flesh, God did. He condemned sin in the flesh by sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh as a sin offering, in order that the law’s requirement would be fulfilled in us who do not walk according to the flesh but according to the Spirit. For those who live according to the flesh have their minds set on the things of the flesh, but those who live according to the Spirit have their minds set on the things of the Spirit. Now the mind-set of the flesh is death, but the mind-set of the Spirit is life and peace. The mind-set of the flesh is hostile to God because it does not submit to God’s law. Indeed, it is unable to do so. Those who are in the flesh cannot please God. You, however, are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if indeed the Spirit of God lives in you. If anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, he does not belong to him. Now if Christ is in you, the body is dead because of sin, but the Spirit gives life because of righteousness. And if the Spirit of him who raised Jesus from the dead lives in you, then he who raised Christ from the dead will also bring your mortal bodies to life through his Spirit who lives in you. So then, brothers and sisters, we are not obligated to the flesh to live according to the flesh, because if you live according to the flesh, you are going to die. But if by the Spirit you put to death the deeds of the body, you will live. For all those led by God’s Spirit are God’s sons. For you did not receive a spirit of slavery to fall back into fear. Instead, you received the Spirit of adoption, by whom we cry out, “Abba, Father!” The Spirit himself testifies together with our spirit that we are God’s children, and if children, also heirs — heirs of God and coheirs with Christ — if indeed we suffer with him so that we may also be glorified with him.”Romans 8:1-17 CSB
