Hope for today, tomorrow, forever

We have things, we want more things, covet others things because we are not satisfied with where we are or what we have, these things do not fill the desire of our hearts or the emptiness of our souls.

We hope the new car will make us feel good, we hope a new job will provide a better living for us, we hope our new friends will bring excitement into our lives, we hope our next political leaders will get it right.

When we put our hope in us and our limitations, we are really not living, we are just surviving.

If we understand our own limitations, we will also understand that all mankind is just as fallible and it is futile to think otherwise.

Is our hope in us?
Is our family's hope in us?

The world is betting on the hope of humanity for tomorrow's answers, and for today's trials.

Hope is not found in humanity! Hope is not found in our worlds system.
Hope is never found in a government or government program!

It is impossible to find hope in the hopeless!

Hope is not found in things we already have, hope is not found in the futility of life, hope is found only in the realm beyond our full comprehension, in the incorruptible, in the eternal, in Christ alone.

Do you need hope today?

You will only find it in Christ, get into the word of God, find a Bible-teaching church to fellowship in and ask God to reveal Himself to you.

God’s word says this:

“Love the Lord, all his faithful ones. The Lord protects the loyal, but fully repays the arrogant. Be strong, and let your heart be courageous, all you who put your hope in the Lord.”Psalms‬ ‭31:23-24‬ ‭CSB‬‬

“Remind them to submit to rulers and authorities, to obey, to be ready for every good work, to slander no one, to avoid fighting, and to be kind, always showing gentleness to all people. For we too were once foolish, disobedient, deceived, enslaved by various passions and pleasures, living in malice and envy, hateful, detesting one another. But when the kindness of God our Savior and his love for mankind appeared, he saved us —not by works of righteousness that we had done, but according to his mercy — through the washing of regeneration and renewal by the Holy Spirit. He poured out his Spirit on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Savior so that, having been justified by his grace, we may become heirs with the hope of eternal life. This saying is trustworthy. I want you to insist on these things, so that those who have believed God might be careful to devote themselves to good works. These are good and profitable for everyone. But avoid foolish debates, genealogies, quarrels, and disputes about the law, because they are unprofitable and worthless. Reject a divisive person after a first and second warning. For you know that such a person has gone astray and is sinning; he is self-condemned.”Titus‬ ‭3:1-11‬ ‭CSB‬‬

“Therefore, since we have been declared righteous by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ. We have also obtained access through him by faith into this grace in which we stand, and we rejoice in the hope of the glory of God. And not only that, but we also rejoice in our afflictions, because we know that affliction produces endurance, endurance produces proven character, and proven character produces hope. This hope will not disappoint us, because God’s love has been poured out in our hearts through the Holy Spirit who was given to us.”Romans‬ ‭5:1-5‬ CSB
