We don’t know the complete plan God has for our lives, each of us though, God has a plan for.
We might not understand why He leads us through the fire or valleys, but He leads us through, we might not understand why death takes the young, or disease overthrows our bodies and minds, or why we suffer through this life, but we know that God leads us through the shadows of death that His rod and staff comforts and protects us.
We seek answers from God’s word from God, from others, we don’t always get the answer we are looking for, but God is still there with us. He has promised never to leave us or forsake us, this promise is not based on our ability to live a holy life, this promise is based on the fact that God alone is Holy.
Our human condition is one that is fallible, our minds and bodies are failing, we are susceptible to disease and death, only through Christ Jesus can we overcome sin and death, this does not mean we’re not going to be sick, suffer, or die, this does not mean we are not going to sin , this means that none of these things have power over us, rather we are safely tucked into the hands of God were He holds us, comforts us and stays with us always.
Troubles come, diseases may overtake us, death may visit us but we are always, and always will be in the hands of our creator, and there is nothing we should fear, for God alone is our shield, protecter, and salvation.
God’s word says this:
“For I know the plans I have for you” — this is the Lord’s declaration — “plans for your well-being, not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope. You will call me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. You will seek me and find me when you search for me with all your heart.”Jeremiah 29:11-13 CSB
“Because of the Lord’s faithful love we do not perish, for his mercies never end. They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness! I say, “The Lord is my portion, therefore I will put my hope in him.” The Lord is good to those who wait for him, to the person who seeks him. It is good to wait quietly for salvation from the Lord.” Lamentations 3:22-26 CSB
“Now this is what the Lord says — the one who created you, Jacob, and the one who formed you, Israel — “Do not fear, for I have redeemed you; I have called you by your name; you are mine. I will be with you when you pass through the waters, and when you pass through the rivers, they will not overwhelm you. You will not be scorched when you walk through the fire, and the flame will not burn you. For I am the Lord your God, the Holy One of Israel, and your Savior. I have given Egypt as a ransom for you, Cush and Seba in your place. Because you are precious in my sight and honored, and I love you, I will give people in exchange for you and nations instead of your life. Do not fear, for I am with you; I will bring your descendants from the east, and gather you from the west.”Isaiah 43:1-5 CSB
“But God, who is rich in mercy, because of the great love that he had for us, made us alive with Christ even though we were dead in trespasses. You are saved by grace! He also raised us up with him and seated us with him in the heavens in Christ Jesus, so that in the coming ages he might display the immeasurable riches of his grace through his kindness to us in Christ Jesus. For you are saved by grace through faith, and this is not from yourselves; it is God’s gift — not from works so that no one can boast. For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared ahead of time for us to do.”Ephesians 2:4-10 CSB
