Life leaves us vulnerable to the things around us, we are subject to time, the weather, others and to a fallen world that is passing away rapidly and trying to take us with it.
This is what I know, all these things are subject to the will of God. We all fall under His authority, His sovereignty, His will, whether we believe in Him or not.
Now don't get this wrong, God does not will evil or harm upon us, but in His sovereignty He uses the evil around us to advance His kingdom, to rescue the lost, to bring His children back to Him, in other words, God sees things from an eternal perspective, whereas we see things from a here and now perspective and He alone works them out the right way, every time.
If you have doubts about who God is, or what God does, the person to ask would be a child of God, the place to find answers would be the word of God, the one to call out to help understand is the Spirit of God.
Instead, people run to the limited, knowledge of others, don't look to the world, or some book or another person who does not know God, for they are the enemy of God.
I speak from knowing God and what He has done in us and for us, I tell you this wholeheartedly! Our God is able! Whenever the enemy comes against us, remember these words, our God is able!
Stop living in fear, start living in the strength of God, by faith.
Jesus said if we have seen Him, we have seen the Father, for He and the Father are one, and what we ask in His name, He will answer.
He is able to deliver us from our enemy.
He is able to pull us from the fiery furnaces of life.
He is able to take us through the high waters.
He is able to carry us through the valley of death.
He is able to save our marriages.
He is able to save our children.
He is able to save our friends.
He is able to save our community.
He is able to save our Nation.
He is able to heal our bodies.
He is able to heal our hearts.
He is able to restore order.
He alone is able to save our souls.
He is able to do all things we deem impossible!
Let's break the cycle of doubt, of fear, of worry.
God’s word says this:
“As he got into the boat, his disciples followed him. Suddenly, a violent storm arose on the sea, so that the boat was being swamped by the waves — but Jesus kept sleeping. So the disciples came and woke him up, saying, “Lord, save us! We’re going to die!” He said to them, “Why are you afraid, you of little faith?” Then he got up and rebuked the winds and the sea, and there was a great calm. The men were amazed and asked, “What kind of man is this? Even the winds and the sea obey him!”Matthew 8:23-27 CSB
“The Jews surrounded him and asked, “How long are you going to keep us in suspense? If you are the Messiah, tell us plainly.” “I did tell you and you don’t believe,” Jesus answered them. “The works that I do in my Father’s name testify about me. But you don’t believe because you are not of my sheep. My sheep hear my voice, I know them, and they follow me. I give them eternal life, and they will never perish. No one will snatch them out of my hand. My Father, who has given them to me, is greater than all. No one is able to snatch them out of the Father’s hand. I and the Father are one.” John 10:24-30 CSB
“Truly I tell you, the one who believes in me will also do the works that I do. And he will do even greater works than these, because I am going to the Father. Whatever you ask in my name, I will do it so that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you ask me anything in my name, I will do it. ”John 14:12-14 CSB
And God is able to make every grace overflow to you, so that in every way, always having everything you need, you may excel in every good work. 2 Corinthians 9:8 CSB
“Now God has revealed these things to us by the Spirit, since the Spirit searches everything, even the depths of God. For who knows a person’s thoughts except his spirit within him? In the same way, no one knows the thoughts of God except the Spirit of God. Now we have not received the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who comes from God, so that we may understand what has been freely given to us by God. We also speak these things, not in words taught by human wisdom, but in those taught by the Spirit, explaining spiritual things to spiritual people. But the person without the Spirit does not receive what comes from God’s Spirit, because it is foolishness to him; he is not able to understand it since it is evaluated spiritually. The spiritual person, however, can evaluate everything, and yet he himself cannot be evaluated by anyone. For who has known the Lord’s mind, that he may instruct him? But we have the mind of Christ.” 1 Corinthians 2:10-16 CSB
“Now faith is the reality of what is hoped for, the proof of what is not seen. For by it our ancestors won God’s approval. By faith we understand that the universe was created by the word of God, so that what is seen was made from things that are not visible.
Now without faith it is impossible to please God, since the one who draws near to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who seek him. Hebrews 11:1-3, 6, CSB
“Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego replied to the king, “Nebuchadnezzar, we don’t need to give you an answer to this question. If the God we serve exists, then he can rescue us from the furnace of blazing fire, and he can rescue us from the power of you, the king. But even if he does not rescue us, we want you as king to know that we will not serve your gods or worship the gold statue you set up.”Daniel 3:16-18 CSB
