God has commanded us to pray and promised us He will answer our prayers. Prayer is a privilege God has given us, He invites us into a conversation with Him, we need to understand when we pray we are calling upon God our Heavenly Father, who is All-Powerful, All-Knowing, Ever Present, Creator of All things, who loves us.
“The Lord who made the earth, the Lord who forms it to establish it, the Lord is his name, says this: Call to me and I will answer you and tell you great and incomprehensible things you do not know.” Jeremiah 33:2-3 CSB
Whatever is going on we can call to Him today and He will hear and answer us.
If we will only humble ourselves and call to Him, we would see the world we live in changed, for our good and His glory.
Please join me and pray today for our Nation, our leaders, our brothers and sisters around the world, for all who are lost.
God sees the pain and suffering, His heart breaks He knows what is happening, He is aware of the sin that rules the hearts of mankind and He has done what was needed to set us free from it.
He is not a God who is distant, He is close to all, and He alone is God. He is an ever-present help to those who call to Him, He is the Redeemer for all mankind, He is God.
Have we not heard?
“For God loved the world in this way: He gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him. Anyone who believes in him is not condemned, but anyone who does not believe is already condemned, because he has not believed in the name of the one and only Son of God.” John 3:16-18 CSB
He said Salvation is a free gift, from Him to us,
“On the contrary, what does it say? The message is near you, in your mouth and in your heart. This is the message of faith that we proclaim: If you confess with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. One believes with the heart, resulting in righteousness, and one confesses with the mouth, resulting in salvation. For the Scripture says, Everyone who believes on him will not be put to shame, since there is no distinction between Jew and Greek, because the same Lord of all richly blesses all who call on him. For everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.” Romans 10:8-13 CSB
We know time is growing short His return is imminent, His love is eternal, His judgment is true, His truth is sharp and it cuts through to the bone, His word reminds us the days are growing shorter, and all of mankind is in need of a Savior He said simply know this
“Above all, be aware of this: Scoffers will come in the last days scoffing and following their own evil desires, saying, “Where is his ‘coming’ that he promised? Ever since our ancestors fell asleep, all things continue as they have been since the beginning of creation.” They deliberately overlook this: By the word of God the heavens came into being long ago and the earth was brought about from water and through water. Through these, the world of that time perished when it was flooded. By the same word, the present heavens and earth are stored up for fire, being kept for the day of judgment and destruction of the ungodly. Dear friends, don’t overlook this one fact: With the Lord one day is like a thousand years, and a thousand years like one day. The Lord does not delay his promise, as some understand delay, but is patient with you, not wanting any to perish but all to come to repentance. But the day of the Lord will come like a thief; on that day the heavens will pass away with a loud noise, the elements will burn and be dissolved, and the earth and the works on it will be disclosed. Since all these things are to be dissolved in this way, it is clear what sort of people you should be in holy conduct and godliness as you wait for the day of God and hasten its coming. Because of that day, the heavens will be dissolved with fire and the elements will melt with heat. But based on his promise, we wait for new heavens and a new earth, where righteousness dwells.” 2 Peter 3:3-13 CSB
There is no other way to God our Heavenly Father, than through Jesus.
“Then Peter was filled with the Holy Spirit and said to them, “Rulers of the people and elders: If we are being examined today about a good deed done to a disabled man, by what means he was healed, let it be known to all of you and to all the people of Israel, that by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom you crucified and whom God raised from the dead — by him this man is standing here before you healthy. This Jesus is the stone rejected by you builders, which has become the cornerstone. There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to people by which we must be saved.”Acts 4:8-12 CSB
God won't beg, and He won't worry, but He waits. He has done everything for us, has given us all things, His love is available for all, He will never reject us, we are the ones who reject Him.
“Lord, hear my prayer; let my cry for help come before you. Do not hide your face from me in my day of trouble. Listen closely to me; answer me quickly when I call. For my days vanish like smoke, and my bones burn like a furnace. My heart is suffering, withered like grass; I even forget to eat my food. Because of the sound of my groaning, my flesh sticks to my bones. I am like an eagle owl, like a little owl among the ruins. I stay awake; I am like a solitary bird on a roof. My enemies taunt me all day long; they ridicule and use my name as a curse. I eat ashes like bread and mingle my drinks with tears because of your indignation and wrath; for you have picked me up and thrown me aside. My days are like a lengthening shadow, and I wither away like grass. But you, Lord, are enthroned forever; your fame endures to all generations. You will rise up and have compassion on Zion, for it is time to show favor to her — the appointed time has come. For your servants take delight in its stones and favor its dust. Then the nations will fear the name of the Lord, and all the kings of the earth your glory, for the Lord will rebuild Zion; he will appear in his glory. He will pay attention to the prayer of the destitute and will not despise their prayer. This will be written for a later generation, and a people who have not yet been created will praise the Lord: He looked down from his holy heights — the Lord gazed out from heaven to earth — to hear a prisoner’s groaning, to set free those condemned to die, so that they might declare the name of the Lord in Zion and his praise in Jerusalem, when peoples and kingdoms are assembled to serve the Lord. He has broken my strength in midcourse; he has shortened my days. I say: “My God, do not take me in the middle of my life! Your years continue through all generations. Long ago you established the earth, and the heavens are the work of your hands. They will perish, but you will endure; all of them will wear out like clothing. You will change them like a garment, and they will pass away. But you are the same, and your years will never end. Your servants’ children will dwell securely, and their offspring will be established before you.”Psalms 102:1-28 CSB
