The bond of all Christians is Christ, our hope, our faith, our forgiveness, our redemption, our salvation is all and only in Him.
This bond is forged in the fires of adversity, in the flames of fellowship and in the power of God’s word, this bond is unbreakable, but when we become isolated it can be shaken no wonder the early church met daily and broke bread, took care of one another and worshipped together. We may have fancy buildings, and worship bands, we may have extraordinary speakers come in and share with us, but do we have the desire to serve and honor God in all we do? To grow in His grace and knowledge every day? Do we hunger for His word? Do we long to walk with Him humbly each day in obedience? Do we seek Him? Do we long to be together in Him? How is our relationship with other believers, are we wanting to be with them and speak of the things of God? Do we encourage one another, sing songs of praise to God above for He alone is worthy! Oh my brothers and sisters let us not think too highly of ourselves and boast of all we have, let's not live in past accomplishments but let us press on, spur on one another and gather together to remind each other of who our God is, who we are in Christ, and boast of His works through the Holy Spirit, let's not forget the fellowship we are called to, let us fan the flames of faith and spread the gospel to our communities and encourage one another. God did not create us to do life alone, the devil wants to isolate you and keep you from the body of Christ, God says come and see all I have created you to be, see what plans I have for you, come to grow together and see My glory. God's word says this: “Therefore, brothers and sisters, since we have boldness to enter the sanctuary through the blood of Jesus — he has inaugurated for us a new and living way through the curtain (that is, through his flesh ) — and since we have a great high priest over the house of God, let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, with our hearts sprinkled clean from an evil conscience and our bodies washed in pure water. Let us hold on to the confession of our hope without wavering, since he who promised is faithful. And let us watch out for one another to provoke love and good works, not neglecting to gather together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging each other, and all the more as you see the day approaching.”Hebrews 10:19-25 CSB “So those who accepted his message were baptized, and that day about three thousand people were added to them. They devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching, to the fellowship, to the breaking of bread, and to prayer. Everyone was filled with awe, and many wonders and signs were being performed through the apostles. Now all the believers were together and held all things in common. They sold their possessions and property and distributed the proceeds to all, as any had need. Every day they devoted themselves to meeting together in the temple, and broke bread from house to house. They ate their food with joyful and sincere hearts, praising God and enjoying the favor of all the people. Every day the Lord added to their number those who were being saved.” Acts 2:41-47 CSB “Pay careful attention, then, to how you live — not as unwise people but as wise — making the most of the time, because the days are evil. So don’t be foolish, but understand what the Lord’s will is. And don’t get drunk with wine, which leads to reckless living, but be filled by the Spirit: speaking to one another in psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs, singing and making music with your heart to the Lord, giving thanks always for everything to God the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, submitting to one another in the fear of Christ.”Ephesians 5:15-21 CSB
