A part of the greatest story ever told!

Once we understand God doesn’t need us, instead He loves us, He wants us to know His wonder and His glory, He wants to show off His power in us. He gives us the privilege of being a part of the greatest story ever told.

His story of creation, the fall of man, God coming to the rescue of man and soon the return of Christ.

This is why God sent Jesus to us, and Jesus sent the Holy Spirit, the Holy Spirit first enables us to believe the gospel and then He continually opens our hearts to its truth's, the gospel begins with our brokenness and inability, not our power and potential.

When we finally come to the place when we realize we have no true power, that is when we are ready to receive His.

Jesus said I am the vine, you are the branches he who abides in Me and I in him, bears much fruit, for without Me you can do nothing. (John 15: 5)

To have a lasting, eternal impact, we have to be filled with God’s Spirit, led by God’s Spirit, live by God’s Spirit. Really, we have to first empty ourselves of our own spirit, the flesh.

To get us there, God may have to break us. God chooses the foolish things of the world to shame the wise, Paul says.

Lives that are changed are lived for the glory of God, not us. God is the only one who can change the heart, this is where real change begins then works its way out through our minds as God changes and molds us, this is sanctification it is a process that takes time, time only God knows.

Don't rush it, don't fake it, don't shove it on somebody else, understand this God is at work, in His timing, He is loving, patient, gentle, righteous and Holy, His will, will be done, and just as He is working in our life, He is working in the lives of those around us, let God be God, pray as He works, don't interfere in His work.

We must simply do our part, live in obedience and leave the results up to God.

God’s word says this:

“This is my command: Love one another as I have loved you. No one has greater love than this: to lay down his life for his friends. You are my friends if you do what I command you. I do not call you servants anymore, because a servant doesn’t know what his master is doing. I have called you friends, because I have made known to you everything I have heard from my Father. You did not choose me, but I chose you. I appointed you to go and produce fruit and that your fruit should remain, so that whatever you ask the Father in my name, he will give you. “This is what I command you: Love one another. “If the world hates you, understand that it hated me before it hated you. If you were of the world, the world would love you as its own. However, because you are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of it, the world hates you. Remember the word I spoke to you: ‘A servant is not greater than his master.’ If they persecuted me, they will also persecute you. If they kept my word, they will also keep yours. But they will do all these things to you on account of my name, because they don’t know the one who sent me. If I had not come and spoken to them, they would not be guilty of sin. Now they have no excuse for their sin. The one who hates me also hates my Father. If I had not done the works among them that no one else has done, they would not have sin. Now they have seen and hated both me and my Father. But this happened so that the statement written in their law might be fulfilled: They hated me for no reason. “When the Counselor comes, the one I will send to you from the Father — the Spirit of truth who proceeds from the Father — he will testify about me. You also will testify, because you have been with me from the beginning.”John‬ ‭15:12-27‬ ‭CSB‬‬

“Everyone who believes that Jesus is the Christ has been born of God, and everyone who loves the Father also loves the one born of him. This is how we know that we love God’s children: when we love God and obey his commands. For this is what love for God is: to keep his commands. And his commands are not a burden, because everyone who has been born of God conquers the world. This is the victory that has conquered the world: our faith. Who is the one who conquers the world but the one who believes that Jesus is the Son of God? Jesus Christ — he is the one who came by water and blood, not by water only, but by water and by blood. And the Spirit is the one who testifies, because the Spirit is the truth. For there are three that testify: the Spirit, the water, and the blood — and these three are in agreement.

If we accept human testimony, God’s testimony is greater, because it is God’s testimony that he has given about his Son. The one who believes in the Son of God has this testimony within himself. The one who does not believe God has made him a liar, because he has not believed in the testimony God has given about his Son. And this is the testimony: God has given us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. The one who has the Son has life. The one who does not have the Son of God does not have life. I have written these things to you who believe in the name of the Son of God so that you may know that you have eternal life. This is the confidence we have before him: If we ask anything according to his will, he hears us. And if we know that he hears whatever we ask, we know that we have what we have asked of him.

If anyone sees a fellow believer committing a sin that doesn’t lead to death, he should ask, and God will give life to him — to those who commit sin that doesn’t lead to death. There is sin that leads to death. I am not saying he should pray about that.

All unrighteousness is sin, and there is sin that doesn’t lead to death. We know that everyone who has been born of God does not sin, but the one who is born of God keeps him, and the evil one does not touch him. We know that we are of God, and the whole world is under the sway of the evil one. And we know that the Son of God has come and has given us understanding so that we may know the true one. We are in the true one — that is, in his Son Jesus Christ. He is the true God and eternal life. Little children, guard yourselves from idols.” 1 John‬ ‭5:1-21‬ ‭CSB‬‬

“For he has not subjected to angels the world to come that we are talking about. But someone somewhere has testified: What is man that you remember him, or the son of man that you care for him? You made him lower than the angels for a short time; you crowned him with glory and honor and subjected everything under his feet. For in subjecting everything to him, he left nothing that is not subject to him. As it is, we do not yet see everything subjected to him. But we do see Jesus — made lower than the angels for a short time so that by God’s grace he might taste death for everyone — crowned with glory and honor because he suffered death. For in bringing many sons and daughters to glory, it was entirely appropriate that God — for whom and through whom all things exist — should make the source of their salvation perfect through sufferings. For the one who sanctifies and those who are sanctified all have one Father. That is why Jesus is not ashamed to call them brothers and sisters, saying: I will proclaim your name to my brothers and sisters; I will sing hymns to you in the congregation. Again, I will trust in him. And again, Here I am with the children God gave me.” Hebrews‬ ‭2:5-13‬ ‭CSB‬‬
