This week we celebrate Thanksgiving, one of my favorite times of the year.
We of all people should live a life of gratitude, and be thankful unto God above for every blessing He has poured out on us.
If we started thanking God now for each blessing, we would no longer be able to complain or bicker, we would not argue amongst ourselves over trivial things that really don’t matter.
We have a choice how we live!
We can be a sweet aroma to God our Father, a sweet aroma of life and gratitude to those around us, or we can be the stench of death and garbage.
We have more than enough to be grateful for and we have all that we need in Christ Jesus in Him we have the victory over all the things around us, including sin and death.
Starting today let us determine in our hearts that we will live as an aroma of life, we will live a grateful and gracious life honoring God who has given us His all, in all we say and do.
God’s word says this:
“But thanks be to God, who always leads us in Christ’s triumphal procession and through us spreads the aroma of the knowledge of Him in every place. For to God we are the fragrance of Christ among those who are being saved and among those who are perishing. To some we are an aroma of death leading to death, but to others, an aroma of life leading to life. Who is adequate for these things? For we do not market the word of God for profit like so many. On the contrary, we speak with sincerity in Christ, as from God and before God.” 2 Corinthians 2:14-17 CSB
